Our manufacturing process:

The image you send will be converted into a 3D format by our 3D specialists. We place emphasis on the fact that the face is not manipulated or altered. However, our specialists optimize the 3D model so that the thickness and thus the print volume are minimized. Therefore the printing costs are minimized.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3D_Drucker

 

The 3D printer prints your mask from the 3D model. Depending on the size and the material, this can take up to 9 hours. In the case of colored gypsum, the material is also dyed at the same time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Our materials:

baby3D-Gips-mehrfarbig-frontal-1gypsum (polymer gypsum)
Our favorite. This material is perfect for your 3D baby mask and is the only material that can be printed in multiple colors. Gypsum has a slightly rough, sandy surface but can easily break and therefore not suitable as a toy. In multi-colored masks, the color of your ultrasound image determines the color of the mask.

baby3D-Gips-PLA-frontal-black-1polyamide
This is a light and hard-wearing plastic which is available in several solid colors. The fine, powdered material is applied in layers, which means that it can lead to light "ripples" due to the production (especially for larger masks). You can see this well in the picture. The surface feels pleasantly rough, slightly sandy.

baby3D-Gips-alumid-frontal-1alumide
It is a composite of polyamide and aluminum powder. Alumide 3D baby masks have a gray metallic color with a slightly rough surface that can be dyed. Compared to polyamides, however, it is more brittle.

-    heatproof to 78C / 170F degrees

 

 


 

baby3D-Gips-Holz-frontal-1wood
It is a composite of plastic and wood dust, which gives your 3D baby mask a wood-colored, slightly rough natural surface. The manufacturing process is more complex than other materials. Since this material is sensitive, it is not suitable for children.

Plese keep in mind that because of the complex manufacturing process the delivery time will be about 15 working days.



 

 

 

 

 

baby3D-Porzellan-frontal-black-1ceramics
Very elaborate in production, because first an inverse shape of your mask must be produced. Various monochrome images are possible. Ceramic is fragile but foodsave. The surface is smooth and glossy, but not as detailed as the other materials.

Sterling silver
Our most exclusive and expensive material. It consists of 92.5% pure silver, as well as copper and zinc. First, a wax mold is printed in 3D printing, then a melting mold is made into which the silver is poured.
The surface is slightly uneven and rough, not polished as we are accustomed to in jewelery.
If silver is desired, we will gladly create a detailed offer based on your 3D ultrasound image
.
